Philippines
Max Philippines would like to thank all of the Associates who attended the recent Leadership Meeting this past October 6th. We took this opportunity to recognize and award our local leaders for their success in building their businesses.
Overall the Leadership Event was a resounding success thanks to the 500 Associates who attended the event. The attending Associates received valuable insights about the Max business opportunity from Max Philippine leaders led by Double Diamond Hd Yco and Diamonds Greny Guadamor and Jhoanna Yco. We’re grateful for the valuable leadership presentations shared by our leading Associates.
In addition to the recognition (awarding of pins and certificates), testimonies shared by the newly promoted associates and the leadership training, Max Philippines also introduced the new starter kit and the upgraded product packs with new marketing tools. A comprehensive update on operations, as well as on the on-going programs such as the 90-day Recruitment and Team Building challenge, were likewise shared and promoted during the event.
This is a great time for Max Philippines as we continue to see many of our hard-working Associates rise in rank. We’re looking forward to Max’s continued growth in the Philippines as we bring these breakthrough products and opportunity to people who need them all throughout the 7,100 islands of the Philippines.
Thanks and Regards,
Joey Sarmiento

Recent Philippines Leadership Meeting Recognizes Rising Max Philippines Associates. is a post from:
Greetings Philippines Associates,
I have just attended the leadership training summit that Diamond Associates Greny & Jho Guadamor organized for their fellow business builders this past October weekend. It was a great two day event and I’d like to share some of the highlights with you.
Around 150 business builders from Greny’s group came from many different provinces, some traveling more than 10 hours just to participate in this special leadership camp! Some of our Associates who have full-time jobs even requested vacation leave just to be able to attend our event.
We had designed several activities for attendees, including games and exercises that focused on team building and partnering, goal setting, and sharing among leaders. Perhaps the biggest focus of the event was helping our leaders develop their presentations on the important points needed to achieve their respective goals.
Max Corporate was invited to present to the attendees about the company and its plans and programs. This show of support helped instill in everyone the full confidence that they have chosen the right company to partner with, as well as the support that they can expect as they work on achieving their Max goals.
We took this opportunity to recognize and award our local leaders.
In addition to the recognition (awarding of pins and certificates) and testimonies shared by the newly promoted associates, Max Philippines promoted our new regional starter kit and the upgraded product packs with new marketing tools. We also detailed a comprehensive operations update as well as promoted on-going promotions, such as the 90-day Recruitment and Team Building challenge.
Overall it was a great experience that reminds me how important this business is to the lives of people everywhere. I want to thank Hd and Jhoanna Yco and Greny and Jho Guadamor for all of their service and leadership. I also want to thank all of our Associates for taking the time to come share Max during this great event.
I am confident that Max will continue to see great growth in the Philippines as we bring these breakthrough products and opportunity to people who need them.
Thanks and Regards,
Joey Sarmiento

Joey Sarmiento, GM of Max Philippines, Reflects on Last Weekend’s Event is a post from:
Following the Grand Opportunity Meeting on Friday August, 24 the Third Anniversary Celebration of Max Philippines started the next day at 12:30 pm at the SMX Convention Center. A crowd of over 1,000 Associates and their guests were lined up to attend this momentous event and soon filed into the convention center where they were greeting by the luxurious sounds of a four-string quartet.
The celebratory event started with a parade of flags representing the different countries where Max International is established. After the opening ceremonies, Joey Sarmiento, the General Manager for the Philippines and Singapore welcomed all the attending Corporate Executives, International Leaders, Philippine Associates and their guests. He set the tone for the day by reviewing all the recent developments and achievements made by Max Philippines over the past year.
Joey then introduced Max Co-Founder Steven Scott, who spoke at length about the humble beginning of Max and how it has continued to grow and expand internationally. The highlight of his talk was the introduction of Cellgevity, Max’s premier product, into the Philippines and the reveal of the new Starter Kits customized specifically for the Philippines market.
Max President Jim Stevralia then shared his vision of Max International and delivered a stirring narrative of what the company’s future plans are and where the company is headed internationally. Jim’s speech was followed by an overview of the Max opportunity by Diamond Associates Chris and Tammy Gingras.
Max International’s impact on sports was highlighted, with a strong focus on how the performance of local athletes has been changed thanks to our breakthrough products. The attendees heard personal stories from the Malditas Philippine National Women’s Football Team, Camille Manalo (Gold Medalist in Taekwondo at the 2011 Southeast Asian Games), and Ruth Pacheco (professional body-builder).
A major part of the event’s celebration was recognizing all the Associates who advanced in rank and who achieved success during the Max 90 Day Recruitment Challenge. As a market, the Philippines did outstandingly well during the 90 Day Challenge, awarding 24 different qualifiers with their Movado Bold Watches.
We honor the 179 new Bronzes, 75 new Silvers, and 13 new Golds who were recognized during the event. We also would like to honor our new Platinum Associates, Carlos & Ligaya Remulla, Sherman & Shirley Semilla, Bernie & Evelyn Yalung and Dan & April Mae Yalung as well as our new Diamond Associates, Jhoanna Yco and Greny & Jhoana Guadamor. Of course, the biggest celebration of the evening came with the recognition of the first Double Diamond Associates in the Philippines: Hd & Nitz Yco!
With the Anniversary program over, it was time to relax and enjoy the rest of the evening. Attendees were treated to a sumptuous buffet and were entertained by special musical performance given by five different Max Philippines Associates.
There was also an exciting prize raffle that rewarded gift cheques, mobile phones, an iPad, and the grand prize of a 32” Samsung LCD TV.
Finally, the evening closed out with entertainment from the popular local band True Faith. It was a day full of learning, recognition, fun and bonding among the 1,000 Associates and guests who attended the event. Thanks to everyone who attended, we look forward to seeing you again next year with bigger and better successes!
Max Philippines Third Anniversary a Celebration of Success, Commitment, and Passion is a post from:
The Third Anniversary Celebration at Max Philippines was a huge success and it all started with one of the biggest Philippines Opportunity Meetings ever!
On August 24, a standing-room-only crowd of over 700 Associates and their guests filed into the Asian Institute of Management’s SGV Hall in Makati City. They were there to experience the full scope of the Max Opportunity and to hear for themselves about how partnering with Max gives exclusive access to breakthrough products and a uniquely rewarding compensation plan.
Joey Sarmiento, General Manager of Max Philippines, opened the Meeting by welcoming the crowd and introduced the event’s guest speakers. Max President Jim Stevralia spoke about the company’s growth and its future direction while Max Co-Founder Steve Scott reflected on Cellgevity’s launch in the Philippines and talked at length about the science behind the products.
Several outstanding Max Associates then took the stage to highlight different parts of the Max opportunity.
Diamond Associates Chris and Tammy Gingras did an informative talk on the Max Business Model.
Diamond Associate Jim Fitzpatrick shared the story of how Max Philippines started and has grown into a thriving community.
Diamond Associates Jhoanna Yco and Greny Guadomor gave their business testomonials about how they’ve found success by partnering with Max.
Finally, to close out the evening, Max’s newest Double Diamond, Hd Yco, gave a passionate speech about how he and his team were able to achieve their inspiring levels of success. It all comes down to a deep, personal commitment to make the most out of the opportunity offered by the Max International Partnership.

Max Philippines Office Closed on August 20-21 is a post from:
Congratulations to Hd & Nitz Yco for achieving the rank of Double Diamond! Their hard work over the last month has been remarkable, as has the work of all our other Philippines Associates who’ve been building their businesses in the face of a national disaster.
Hd and his group were able to accomplish great things in the midst of a series of calamities that hit the Philippines during the last week of July. Several typhoons have battered Metro Manila as well as key provincial areas with high winds, heavy rains, and dangerous flood levels. In Metro Manila alone, school classes were suspended from July 30 to August 1 because of the flooding across the city. Despite these hardships, about 500 Leaders and Associates from Metro Manila and the Luzon region braved the rains to attend a Leadership Training Meeting and Celebration.
In achieving Double Diamond Rank, Hd & Nitz Yco are the first to do so in Asia. This is a monumental landmark for Max Philippines and promises to be the start of even greater things in the future. In the process of achieving Double Diamond, Hd & Nitz were able to promote a new Platinum (Dan & April Yalung), three Golds (Conrad & Del Yalung, Bernard Villalobos, Dennis & Vivian Soriano) as well as thirteen Silvers and twenty-one Bronzes during the month of July. What is truly amazing is that in the midst of the current calamity, Hd continued to work with and coordinate the activities of his leaders in the various provincial areas.
Through all the adversity, Max Philippines was able to establish a new sales record in July 2012 and earned the distinction of being the country with the most number of Qualified Associates in the recently concluded 90-day challenge with 25 Qualifiers!
Here are some highlights of the brave work done by our Associates and the difficult conditions they faced.
Platinum Bernie Yalung was stranded in Baguio City while supporting his leaders in the area. The typhoon caused the closing of offices and schools in the city and the major road going in and out of Baguio was closed as well. In spite of this, he was able to re-qualify as Platinum and was able to support one of his business builders to advance to Gold rank during the month.
Dan Yalung’s area was not spared any of the devastation. In spite of the flooding, Dan continued to work with his leaders in the field even if his travels meant not being able to go home for 5 days. His perseverance paid off, as he achieved Platinum rank during the month.
Bernard Villalobos was working on his Gold rank advancement in the Visayas region and was on the way back to Manila from Bacolod via boat on Sunday, July 29 when the typhoon struck. The commercial ship he was riding (with a capacity of about 500 passengers) was supposed to arrive in Manila on July 30, Monday. Because of the typhoon, the ship could not dock and was in the middle of the sea for an extra 3 days, finally arriving in Manila on Thursday, August 2.
Bernard narrated his harrowing experience on the ship with the strong waves rocking the boat, no islands in sight, and the sky pitch dark because of the typhoon. He could hear the plates in the ship’s restaurant shattering as they fell and parts of the boat being damaged because of the strong winds. Throughout these harrowing three extra days he spent on the sea, Bernard continued to be in touch with his downlines in his efforts to achieve his Gold rank qualification, making the effort to send emails to his group whenever there was an available phone signal. He was even able to share Max products with three new acquaintances he met during the ordeal at sea! After all the adversity, Bernard finally reached the shores of Manila on August 2, promptly went straight to the Max office and was able to complete his Gold requirements.
These inspiring stories exemplify the dedication and commitment of these Philippine leaders to the Max business. You will find no better examples of leader support and teamwork at its very best.
Everyone in Max salute these leaders for their fortitude and diligence in achieving their goals in the face of adversity.
